Tell us about your background, and how you came to found your company?
Kungkea has an educational background in Business Management. He found his passion in Business and has since early years as refreshment he started to focus on entrepreneur skills and he gained interest in property due to its natural appeal as well as high market demands.
Kungkea has experience as Franchise Manager of an international real estate company and he then took Certified Real Estate Specialist (CIPS) USA. He then become a Senior Real Estate Specialist (SRES) USA and he is also an International Real Estate Speaker and Negotiator. In 2018, Kungkea signed an agreement to start a new business of master franchise from USA to Cambodia. He is presently Chairman and CEO of ERA Cambodia.
What is most important to you and your organization – mission, vision, or core values? Why?
What most important to us is bringing a win-win solutions with innovative platform by offering investors/buyers for the best real estate, building capacity and provide opportunity for our salespersons to be at recognizable at the international stage, as well as to help developers achieving better sales performance.

How has the industry been changing in recent years?
Cambodia is one of the highest growing countries in the world with average 7% GDP growth in the last decade. Meanwhile, real estate in Cambodia is a main sector to boost the economy growth. Cambodia regulations are quite favourable as foreigner can own unit of co-owned building in freehold with strata title. Taxation are also favourable compared to some countries in the region. The rental return and capital gain in Cambodia real estate are between 6% to 8% per annum in average. Financing is open for accessiblity as not only banks but the developer itself also provide developer financing.
